Amazon's Kindle is leading the rapidly developing eBook market in the M2M Consumer Service Sector.
The Kindle and other eReaders represent continued disruptive change in the turmoil of the publishing industry, where traditional business models are already reeling from their impact with the Internet and related changes.
eReaders have much in common with laptop computers, tablet devices -- existing and rumored -- and the increasingly ubiquitous smartphones, but are distinguished by their electronic display technology.
E Ink Corporation, which will merge with its primary customer Prime View per a June, 2009, announcement, supplies the electronic displays used in Kindles and most of the other eReaders.
